When Ash is not delivering incredible events to weave the beautiful threads that tie two people together on their Wedding day, Ash is also a full time singer/songwriter & interior designer amongst other things!

"Poco Uno was born in 2012 and initially started out as an entertainment business as I was a full time singer and had just finished a degree at the Conservatorium of Music. Over the years, it has organically merged into a ‘one stop shop’ for all things weddings, events, entertainment, styling and design. We are pretty lucky because we gravitate towards like-minded clients who let us do our thing. Anything that is wildly outrageous we generally keep in the Poco Uno vault to release when needed!

If I were to give any tips on finding the perfect Wedding stylist to couples starting out on their search, it would be - preparation is key! And do your research. Research imagery through Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook. Sometimes it's easier if you have a key element that you're set on and you build from that ie, colour scheme, chosen floral. Word of mouth is always one of the best forms of vendor referrals.

A day in the life of an event stylist, for us, covers everything from interior and event styling, interior design, graphic design, event management, grazing tables, planning and coordination, floral and greenery styling and entertainment - to name a few. Everyday is different. One day is never the same as the next at Poco Uno. One day I could be at the the flower markets, the next I could be working and collaborating on photo shoots, or planning a music set list etc.
