INSPIRATION SHOOT DAY - The behind the scenes
"Our day didn't go to plan as the original concept was meant to be woodland but we got rained out. A blessing in disguise was Space 10 - thanks to Katie from Artic Fox Hire. Space 10 was a great blank canvas and the location was perfect as everyone was coming from Gold coast or NSW !!! It was a big day so just to have everything in one space made the process a lot smoother out of the rain.
I have previously worked on and off with all the vendors involved at different events or weddings so my motivation for this styled shoot was to finally incorporate all my favorites under the one roof and see what we could all create together.

Another inspiration was what colour to incorporate next. The story started with the captivating rose encased in the dome from Beauty and the Beast. I wanted to create something with a little mood and drama, warmth and richness with Winter in mind, which was just around the corner. The burgundy roses encased in the foliage hoops were my favorite element and created the back drop. The hoops were created with Olive leaf, Eucalyptus and deep green foliage.
It was such a rewarding day just to bounce off other creative souls. The end result was much more than I could have imagined, thanks to having great friends in this industry that love their job as much as I do!!!" Laura - Lola's Wildflowers

I chose the gowns SPRING and LIANA, as they both had a similar base colour/lace pattern and worked well together. The styles suit ladies of differing figure shapes and show how different, yet complimentary, these two dresses, with minimal traditional bridal structure would create a soft, relaxing look for both brides.
Originally the shoot was going to be outside amongst the trees, but that day started and ended with bucket loads of rain and that’s when Space 10 stepped in. I’ve never been to Space 10 before and once I found my way there to drop the dresses off, I saw the beginning of something beautiful developing. Due to the weather, we were unable to shoot outside in the forest, so the forest, or part thereof, was bought to Studio 10, where Katie from Arctic Fox Furniture Hire and Styling and Laura created this magical scene you see in these great images.
Milina from Milina Opsenica Photography and Jerome from Bird and Boy Photography have done a wonderful job with the images, making you feel like you are there. The cake looked so good and me being a sweet tooth, just wanted a bite, but as you can see the cake was intact and my waistline saved, this time. I want to thank all the vendors involved in putting this shoot together and the models Cassidy and Stephanie." Helena - Helena Couture Designs

"For our styled shoot I went with a deep crimson lip and warm golden-brown tones for our beautiful model. This complimented the gorgeous flowers and soft warm candlelight we shot amongst. The hair was a soft and romantic waterfall braid with curls, to keep with the dreamy feel.
For our second model’s makeup, I took inspiration from the magical woodland feel gown, and used pinks and greens with a soft pink lip to keep a fresh and romantic feel. Again, hair was in a loose curled boho style with greenery pinned through, to keep with our shoots style."- Goddess Makeup Design.
