How and when was Black Jacket Suiting born? Black Jacket Suiting was incepted in 2013 from the brainchild of Director Ryan Fisher; who wanted to follow his passion for tailoring, customer service, suiting and business acumen rather than chase the traditional corporate lawyer lifestyle that many of his university counterparts were destined for. Ryan believed he could put his industry experience and passion to more virtuous uses in the menswear game and specifically the under specialised Wedding market in Brisbane.
Have you ever had any wild and interesting design requests? Offering an extremely comprehensive made to measure suiting range, we have the extremely unique request from time to time. Most recently, a client requested a Red Velvet Tuxedo with raised black paisley pattern; we were able to source the fabric from an affiliate mill through our supplier network and made him a one of a kind show-piece outfit.
Do you have any tips for Grooms that are just starting out on their search for the perfect suit? A true gentlemen is chivalrous in every situation and the Wedding day is no exception. Our advice to clients always works off the KISS principle and suggests to compliment the Wedding day themes, style and colours.
