Chantelle Maree Hair was born in July 2017 after the birth of Chantelle's son, Fletcher. Wanting to balance being a first time Mum with flexibibility to work her own hours, after a decade styling hair, Chantelle started her very own business.

Tell us about what Chantelle Maree Hair can offer a Bride on her Wedding day: I take great pride in my work, from the first point of contact through my enquiry form right up until the Wedding day, I ensure my Bride is confident and comfortable with the service she will be receiving. On the day of the Wedding, I ensure everyone is completely happy before offering to help out with whatever else needs doing. It is not uncommon for me to help a bridesmaid/Bride into their dress and dry bouquets! I truly love what I do and enjoy being part of my Brides' special day.
Did you always know you wanted to be a Bridal/events hairstylist? When I first began my hairdressing apprenticeship I trained as a colourist in Brisbane's CBD. I loved colouring but always enjoyed the styling aspect when I had the opportunity to finish my clients hair. After planning my own Wedding, I knew this was an avenue in the hair industry I wanted to pursue. Completing the necessary education and training with a hairstylist whom I looked up to, has been instrumental in furthering my skills. You can never stop learning!
Advice: I highly recommend booking a stylist based on the style of work they do and make sure that it aligns with the style you would like to have for your own hair on your Wedding day. It is always great to love the Stylist's work to whom you are entrusting for your own hair. Reference photos are always a good idea for your hair trial to help your Stylist create your dream Bridal hairstyle.
Do you have a personal favourite style? Waves, ponytails and textured styles are definitely my favourite things to do however creating a modern take on a classic hairstyle is also incredibly enjoyable.
What is the best part about what you do: Being part of the journey! Each Wedding day is so incredibly different and fabulous for its own uniqueness. Seeing my Bride dressed and seeing the first look with their family/bridesmaids is always one of my favourite things as you witness their vision coming to life. Being a hairstylist is honestly one of the most enjoyable and rewarding jobs.
