The debut Collection of Alca Line Bride dances romantically with an opaque transparency offering Bride's the opportunity to mix and match her Wedding gown to suit her individuality with ease. Amy shares with us her expert advice for Bride's just starting out on their search for their Wedding oufit as well as how it all began for this Sydney based Australian Bridal designer.

What can ALCA LINE BRIDE offer a Bride for their Wedding day? We offer our made-to-order collection as well as custom couture designs. All our designs are also customisable. We are very excited about our new collection that will be launching before the end of the year! Our collections include some stunner gowns, fun seperates, a few capes thrown in the mix and some veil options. We also have a few statement earrings from the amazing A.B.Ellie to pair with our gowns for the perfect bridal look.

Take us to the beginning of it all for you - How and when was ALCA LINE BRIDE born? We launched our debut collection this year in April! After almost a decade working hands on in the bridal industry, I (being Amy- designer/owner of alca line bride) knew it was time to spread my wings and go out on my own.

Did you always know that you wanted to design Bridal wear? I stumbled into the Bridal industry by accident and I am so glad I did! It was meant to be and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else!

Advice: It’s good to have inspo but don’t have your heart set on that dress you were crushing on over on instagram, you don’t want to end up heart-broken if it doesn’t look how you imagined when you try it on! Be open to trying on different things because you may be pleasantly surprised! You don’t want to dismiss something that may look amazing on, you can’t tell until you see it on your body.

Do you have a personal favourite style? Not one in particular, we love when a Bride ignores the trends and just finds something that represents her personality! Oh, and we are partial to a good sleeve- of any style, shape or form - we don’t discriminate. Expect to see some more statement sleeves in our upcoming collection!

The best part about what you do: Seeing happy Brides find their dream dress... And of course, doing what I love every day. Designing and playing with pretty dresses and hopefully pushing the boundaries of what people expect of a Wedding dress!
