How and when was JODY CALLAN HAIR born? Jody Callan Hair was born mid 2017 after styling one of my beautiful friends hair for her Wedding day, I didn't start out to style Wedding hair but this is where I am today after word of mouth and instagram - my Wedding hairstyling seemed to really connect with my followers and so I just keep creating my unique hairstyles and use social media to inspire and attract beautiful Brides to be that love my styling.

What can JODY CALLAN HAIR offer a Bride for their Wedding day? Gosh I am so passionate about what I do and my Brides are everything to me. When booking Jody Callan Hair for your Wedding day, I will create personalised, beautiful hairstyling for my Brides, my favourite style is effortless waves, upstyles and ponytails. I travel Brisbane and beyond to create hairstyles at the location of my Brides Wedding day so my Bridal party can enjoy the morning preparations listening to great music, sipping on some champers and relaxing knowing they are in my creative hands.

Did you always know that you wanted to be a hair stylist? I started out on a very different career path as I was studying back in Scotland and hairdressing was not seen as an ideal career. When I moved to Australia with my family, I decided to study hairdressing and thats when I decided to specialise in hairstyling and I did have never looked back.

Do you have any stories that you would like to share from your experiences? Each Wedding has its own unique story and for every Bride the morning is spent in preparation with her Bridal party on the lead up to be coming a Mrs. This time is filled with so much love, laughter, nerves and some tears my advice to Brides to-be on the day, is to just enjoy every moment on the most wonderful day - your Wedding day!

What advice would you offer to a Bride who is just starting out on their search for the perfect Wedding hairstylist? Do your research and make sure you love the hairstylists way of styling on their website & social media pages as this is their unique styling and gives you a feel for the hairstyles they love to create. If you don't see any hairstyles that you love, another hairstylist may be a more perfect fit.

Do you have a personal favourite style? I love relaxed undone effortless styles, I think less is best when it comes to hairstyles they should enhance you, not change you.

Please tell us about the best part about what you do: I love creating beautiful hair for my Bridal parties and travelling to the most amazing locations. A Wedding day is filled with so much love and happiness it warms my heart to know I was chosen to be part of their Wedding day preparation.
