"I love that I can translate all the different skills I've learnt earlier through doing ceramics, painting, sculpture etc into my jewellery work." Eliise - Eliise Maar Jewellery
➳ How was ELIISE MAAR JEWELLERY born? Eliise Maar Jewellery was born in 2015. I was always passionate about crafting and loved creating things with my hands and then I found jewellery for myself. A form of wearable art really. My journey started with experimenting with non-precious metals and materials and then moved on to finer materials. I love that I can translate all the different skills I've learnt earlier through doing ceramics, painting, sculpture etc into my jewellery work.
➳ What can ELIISE MAAR JEWELLERY offer a Bride to-be for their Wedding day? We have something for every Bride - the classic, minimalist pearl and diamond jewellery but also rings and earrings that are more of a statement and flamboyant. I think it's important for every bride to feel like ''themselves'' and find the power accessories that just give that extra.

➳ Do you have any stories that you would like to share from your experiences? One time I had a customer who asked me to engrave a single random letter that I thought of in the ring we made her. Turned out she was expecting a child and named him starting with the letter I had engraved! That felt pretty incredible to be part of something so special.

➳ Do you have a personal favourite piece? I don't really have one specific one. It's funny, it always changes and that's what I love about my job. I can create and fall in love with all different kinds of pieces. My favourite thing is to see someone so happy when they receive their custom made piece and I can see the sparkle in their eyes. That type of joy is my favourite.
➳ Please tell us about the best part about what you do: I'm so happy to be able to connect with so many people. Especially when designing custom made pieces. I learn about the challanges and joys in their life. It's lovely being able to provide this kind of personalized service. And, I'm not going to lie, shopping for sparkly gemstones and coming up with designs is pretty darn exciting!
