"Your ring is a symbol of your love, make sure every time they see it they think about how important this union is!" Staghead Designs How and when was STAGHEAD DESIGNS born? Staghead Designs began with a love for exploring and a need to create. Along the way, I wanted to provide something to those who wanted something unique and meaningful to their wedding band. Something that spoke to them about who they are and what their relationship means to them. When I was looking for a wedding band I felt like there was something missing in the men’s wedding band market. All the designs were the same, all the materials were the same. Where did my unique personality and style fit in? It was after all a ring I planned on wearing forever. My wife mentioned to me that she would like a ring made from the deer sheds we had found one day while hiking around. So I started from there. And I found out I wasn't the only one who wanted something unique, something wild. what can STAGHEAD DESIGNS offer a couple for their Wedding day? Something meaningful and personal! Not only do we specialize in crafting custom wedding rings from unique materials, a couple can also send in materials that are sentimental or have some representation of the person they are for or the relationship that the ring will symbolize! Your ring is a symbol and we think it should represent some part of your love. If it you have an item that represents you, chances are we can make a ring from it! did you always know that you wanted to design jewellery? Not at all! But I always knew I would be making something. I grew up working on constructions sites and learning trades either from my father or anyone else who would teach me. My wife is also extremely creative and our life together led us randomly to a place where we get to apply our passions to make our clients happy. do you have any stories that you would like to share from your experiences? We have the opportunity to make rings from the oddest materials and we love it! People really are diverse and some of the ideas they have surprised us, but if they are meaningful to them then we are happy to help! We once made an engagement ring that used a molded casting of the bride's tooth as the center stone! Most of all we like to hear the meaningful stories our clients want to create with their ring. We recently did a ring for an avid motorcycle rider that was made using a bolt from the old dirt bike he learned to ride when he was a kid. The ring had an inlay made from a stone that is very widely used in Hong Kong, a city he spent a meaningful portion of his life. The ring also contained a piece of coconut husk, which was representative of the way he met his bride, who knocked on his door asking if he could help her open a coconut that was sent to her by her current boyfriend haha! advice: Our advice is always to get them something as unique and meaningful as their love! Every week we make dozens of designs that we have never done before and at least one will really stand out as a special piece until the next show stopper comes through the shop. what is the best part about what you do: It is a coin flip. One amazing best part is helping a bride and groom realize the possibilities for their ring and the meaning that can be implemented into it. We love hearing their stories and helping them to build a ring around those stories! Equally as rewarding is receiving pictures and thank you letters back from our clients big day!
