Ivy & Matilda was born after Jessica's own wedding in 2012 due to the struggle she experienced of trying to find a good quality bridal robe from Australia to wear whilst having her hair and make-up done. Giving birth to her son in the same year, Jessica used her time on maternity leave to start the label.

What can Ivy & Matilda offer a Bride to-be for their Wedding day?
We offer both robes for brides and bridesmaids which are made from quality materials such as silk and lace. Our garments are made locally by other mums in business so each item in hand-cut and sewn. A robe is perfect to wear while bridal parties get their hair and make-up done as our robes wrap around so they do not ruin hair and make-up.

Did you always know that you wanted to design Bridal accessories?
I actually got into the bridal accessories due to necessity as I could not find what I wanted for my wedding day. My personal style is very feminine, soft and floaty and I feel Ivy & Matilda reflects this.

What keeps you inspired along the way?
I absolutely love receiving emails or social media tags from customers in their Ivy & Matilda robes. Seeing a bride wearing one of our robes on their big day is truly a privilege and something that I am very grateful to be apart of.

Do you have any stories that you would like to share from your experiences?
I think a bridal robe is a beautiful gift for bridesmaids to say thank you for their role in a brides wedding. It is also something that can be worn on the day whilst getting ready and then can be used after the wedding to slip on after a long day and feel glamorous.

What is your own personal favourite style of robe?
I love the way silk feels against my skin and I love to flowers so I am always wearing a silk floral print.
