Did you always know that you wanted to be a floral designer?
An artist, yes. A floral designer, no. I have always been a flower enthusiast. I'm intrigued by beautiful things. And I appreciate the simple things in life. I love to explore nature and all that it has to offer.
Flowers are as they appear in there natural state, they are used to express all kinds of wonderful and sorrowful feelings and there are endless ways to explore and experiment with the combination of there textures and colours. This is what has excited and inspired me on this artistic journey.

My work and passion for floral design is inspired by my love for contemporary art, texture, colour, abstract design and simplicity. The endless oppotunities that floral design has to offer, the ability to express yourself freely through floral art and the beautiful people; both clients and other creatives, you come in contact with on a daily basis keep me creatively involved and passionate about what I do.
Do you have any stories that you would like to share from your experiences?
Every experience is special and memerable. Every couple connects with me and my designs in a different way.
The floral component of the wedding is one of great importance. It will tie each part of your wedding together from the bridal flowers to the ceremony and then to the reception. Make sure your blooms work in with your overall colour palette and wedding theme.
When in search for a designer keep an open mind, explore your options and don't be afraid to ask questions. But most importantly go with a designer who listens to your desires. As mentioned earlier, flowers will form one of the most important components of your big day and if your designer is as passionate about your image as you are and you have researched their designs and capabilities you can be confident the end result will be exactly what you are after.

Personally, I am a lover of what I refer to as Wilde Botanicals. The perfect combination of colour and texture arranged in an abstract manner. The elements of balance and perfection go unnoticed by the wild and oddly intruiging components of each piece. I love the contrast of dried and soft petal flowers, sharp and blunt textures, bold and soft colours. Every design is original, nothing is ever planned and I always work with an open mind.
What is the best part about what you do:
Everyday is so different and every couple connects with me in there own intimate way. The design process for each couple becomes a story of it's own. An unknow combination of flowers used to express and celebrate the perfect day, the perfect moment. The experience, the beautiful couples and creatives I collaborate with are the best part about what I get to do every day.
