PTD started in 2014 when Paige finished her 3 year degree in Creative Advertising and Graphic Design. "I in no way ever imagined that it would grow into what it is today! I started out doing some freelancing for friends and friends of friends. After getting a few wedding clients, things just started snowballing and before I knew it wedding invitations were my biggest source of income. Fast forward 4 years and it is now my full time job!" Paige tells excitedly.

"My style is unique and original, whether you want something traditional or modern I am consistently innovating my style to remain aligned with the current industry trends. My suites can include (but are not limited to) the invitation, RSVP cards, gift cards, details cards, thank you cards, envelope lettering / printing, on the day stationery (name cards, signage, menus) and more. I always ensure that I am providing only the highest quality printing to my clients. I liaise with the best printing companies in Australia to bring my designs to life.
I get my inspiration from all around! We are constantly surrounded by design and creativity. I can spend hours scrolling through Pinterest and being inspired by all of the beautiful design and imagery, taking inspiration that I can incorporate into my own work. However I am always very careful so as not to cross that line between ‘inspiration’ and ‘copying’. It is a very grey area and I feel that it is crossed far too much in the design industry. There are too many people out there doing the same thing, so I think it is super important to be aware of that and be different. If you are going to take inspiration from somewhere, make sure you adapt it to be your own, and work it in to your own aesthetic.
ADVICE:Organisation is important. Leaving things until the last minute will usually leave you disappointed and / or stressed! Personally, my foil printing takes 3-4 weeks, so you need to allow at least 6 weeks for the production of your invitations (yes it is a while, but all good things take time) Try to approach your stationer with a pretty good idea of what you are after. It will speed up the process a lot if you have done your research and formed a pretty good idea of what you are after!
STYLE:“Minimal luxe” I feel describes my style perfectly. I love a minimal design with plenty of white space, with touches of handwritten or illustrated elements that that compliment and enhance a minimal design. I am mostly known for my typography. All of my designs contain some sort of hand lettered text, whether it is the feature of the design or a smaller detail, it is how I keep my work as unique as possible.
BEST THING ABOUT WHAT YOU DO:I absolutely love what I do. I feel it is so rewarding being able to help couples on (one of) the most memorable days of their lives! My favourite part has to be packing up an order, making sure it all looks beautiful in its box before it is shipped off to the client. For anyone who is as paper obsessed as me, receiving a box of beautiful printing is like a kid receiving a present on christmas morning!! (I get way too excited).
