How and when did Moravia Park come to be? We purchased Moravia Park just over 2 years ago. As soon as we drove down towards the property and saw the timber barn we knew it was something special and just had to have it! With a lot of hard work and some sleepless nights we are super proud of her transformation and gosh has she been a hit!

Tell us about what Moravia Park can offer a couple for their Wedding day? Moravia Park can offer a couple THE BARN and FREEDOM! The barn has been lovingly restored to its amazing glory and it’s unique to the Hunter Valley because of its size and grandeur. They get exclusive access to the property to make it their own and the opportunity to put in all of the personal touches. We have festoon lights, an arbour for ceremony, an outdoor dance floor, a rustic bar, hand crafted tables and bench seating and load more.

Did you always know that you wanted to manage a Wedding + function venue? My urge to find and create a wedding venue started 9 years ago when I was seeking out a venue for my own wedding! At the time I was living in Sydney and being a country girl all I wanted was a barn style venue (or even a shed) that I could access before hand, style myself and create a day that I could call my own! Unfortunately, at the time I was not able to find such a venue. The barn doors you see now on our barn was my vision all those years ago!

What advice would you offer to Nearly Weds who are just starting out on their search for the perfect venue? Feel it out and go with your gut. Don’t be afraid to keep asking questions, if you need too.

Tell us about the best part about what you do: Meeting gorgeous, loved up couples and helping them create their dream day! The joy of seeing a bride, groom and all their loved ones enjoying the space that we created! But above all, its the first dance that really gets me!! I just love it!
