One of our favourite wedding stories is from a ceremony a couple of years back in Palm Beach NSW, we were performing at a ceremony right on the beach and could see a massive storm approaching. The bride had been running late and the storm was getting closer and closer. The celebrant rushed through proceedings to ensure we didn't all get drenched and just as the couple were announced as husband and wife the storm hit, big time. Ironically, their chosen exit song was "Here Comes The Sun" by The Beatles and as we played the first verse/chorus the crowd roared with laughter (and then we all ran for cover!).
What advice would you offer to Nearly Weds who haven't chosen their perfect wedding performers yet?
Book us? Haha. Do your research, find a few artists you like, watch their videos, read their reviews, get in touch and get a feel for how they conduct their business. We love our small roster of artists and we're super proud to offer specific pairings with live videos of each artist on our website so our clients know exactly who it is they will be getting on the day (+ what they'll look and sound like!).
What are the most popular songs you play?
Ed Sheeran has featured in most our weddings, so it's a good thing we're fans! We are loving performing David Gray's "The One I Love" lately.
