Poppies and lace was inspired by Becky's urge to be more creative and to let her floral dreams wander and go wild after previously working in a flower shop and for an events company it was time for Becky to spread her wings. Poppies and lace will be coming up to its fourth year of opening this Winter!

What can Poppies and Lace Flowers offer a couple for their Wedding day? Poppies and Lace is all about soft pretty palettes and wild wondering forms. I’m dedicated and passionate in creating romantic dreamy spaces for my couples filled with beautiful whimsical semi loose arrangements that mimic the natural surroundings.

Did you always know that you wanted to design floral couture? I’ve always been a flower child! From an early age I was playing with flowers in my garden and it has always been dream that I would grow up surrounded by flowers. I feel so grateful that I get to work with such beautiful materials and bring to life floral visions for my clients.

What keeps you inspired along the way? I find inspirations all around me from natural environments, colours, books and artwork. I also love a good scroll through Instagram where I follow some amazing floral artists.

Advice:

I believe it is so important to find a florist or vendor that matches with your individual style. Have a look and see if you love their previous work and if it reflects your style. I will always recommend another florist if I feel our clients are on a different floral path to what Poppies and Lace is all about.

What is your own personal favourite style? Poppies and Lace has its own personal style where we create with soft organic pallets to create soft wild and romantic arrangements and dreamy spaces.

What is the best part about what you do: Being surrounded by the most beautiful materials and experimenting with new designs and concepts.
