How and when was Belle Loves Paper born?
I simply love love. I’m the kind of person who weeps through The Notebook (even though I’ve seen it a dozen times already). And my own wedding and the birth of my children were some of the happiest moments of my life – again, I tear up just thinking about them!
Do you have any stories that you would like to share from your experiences?
Organising invitations are one of the first stages of the wedding planning and some couples I speak with can sometimes feel a little overwhelmed over the entire wedding planning. But in the end, after the wedding, when I hear from the couples, they have had the best day! So don’t stress, everything works out and it’s a fabulous day filled with memories to be cherished forever.
Do you have a prediction for any upcoming 2020 wedding stationery styles?
2020 will continue to push print boundaries with the introduction of new card materials, heavier paper weights, complex foil patterns and letterpress finishes. Acrylic was huge, so I expect more materials will be introduced over the coming year. But I love good old traditional luxe paper goods and excellent design to create the perfect timeless invitations.
Tell us about the best part about what you do:
From an engagement party and wedding through to the arrival of a newborn and celebrating significant birthdays, I adore it when my clients take me on their life journey. Being part of those important milestones is an incredible privilege and I feel so honoured to be able to play a role in some of the most special occasions that my clients will experience in their lifetime.
