How and when was Love You More Bridal born?"It was in 2017 while I was taking a career break from working in the corporate sector that I decided to pursue my love of fashion and create something of my own. Growing up with a mum as a professional tailor gave me an acute appreciation for textiles and beautiful tailoring and in a way feels like a natural progression from my early childhood influences. Using my own wardrobe of crisp whites and floaty fabrics as a mood board, I saw the beginnings of a bridal wear collection and the foundations of my brand aesthetic – refined, simple and elegant.

Did you always know that you wanted to design Bridal fashion?
Being a creative is something I’ve always aspired to do, I just needed to step away from the hustle and bustle of the corporate world to realise it.
We’re really proud that we develop and manufacture all of our gowns locally, in Melbourne. We hope that with more people becoming concerned about ethics in production, we can bring the textile industry back to Australia in an environmentally conscious and sustainable way.

If you decide to buy online, it’s a good idea to visit a boutique to try on different styles to find out what suits you. Also, don’t hesitate to ask for additional pictures – most places would be happy to accommodate.
Most importantly, have fun. Limit your entourage to a select few who champion your style and whose opinions really matter to you. You want to avoid unnecessary confusion and stress.

As cliched as it sounds, it’s knowing that our bride’s experience with us forms part of one of the most important milestones in their lives. It’s the most genuine compliment anyone can give us and one we hugely appreciate. I also love the enthusiasm and excitement of some of our brides. We had a bride change her appointment three times, bringing the date forward each time because she just couldn’t wait.
