When Taegen created iNFiNiTY TRiBE she really wanted to be able to service couples for all of their stationery needs leading up to the big day. "I created a range of pre-designed engagement party invitations, save the dates and wedding suites for those who need a little more guidance and possibly a more budget friendly option. I also offer fully custom suites for couples who have a specific look they're after, or even just know they'd like something special just for them." Taegen tells.

What else can iNFiNiTY TRiBE offer couples for their wedding day?
I also have The Bride Book which is a wedding planning book to help brides plan every part of their wedding day, not just their stationery. It's got 170 pages and literally covers every topic you can think of! When it comes to the actual wedding day, I create matching signage, menus, table numbers, place cards, vow booklets + basically anything that can be printed on paper and add to the vibe of the day!

My online store has a range of greeting cards for all wedding related events - engagements, bridal party proposals, anniversaries and for wedding guests to give newlyweds and for the bride and groom to give each other + their bridal party or parents on the big day. For bridesmaids, I also offer a range of pre-designed bridal shower invitations to help when planning the celebrations for the bride to be! Getting married really is one of the biggest highlights of your life, so I really wanted to help couples for every step along the way, not just the wedding day.

How and when was infinity tribe born?
I had another stationery brand where most of my work was for birthdays, baby showers and other life events. It got to a point where about 80% of my work was wedding related. So almost 2 years ago, I decided to start iNFiNiTY TRiBE to focus purely on weddings and all the special events leading up to it. Within the same year that I started iNFiNiTY TRiBE, I also got engaged myself so it was full speed ahead from then on!

Advice

It's so easy to get overwhelmed with all the options available and so much inspiration on Instagram and Pinterest. I'm a massive fan of simple, minimal style stationery so if couples are struggling to decide on what they'd like, I suggest using the colours of their wedding as the hero elements in their stationery. With so many different coloured and textured papers and special finishes available, you don't need lots of design elements on your invitations to make them look complete.

For example, for my own wedding our styling was made up of very Earthy tones so for our stationery we had an Earthy grey invitation with white ink printing and textured really pale beige paper for the details cards and envelopes. The fonts I used completed the romantic, Earthy vibe, without needing to add flowers or other design elements. There's also so much you can do just with some nice paper, beautiful fonts and special finishes such as foil stamping or letterpress. I like to remind my couples that their invitations are the first taste of their wedding day for their guests so they will set the tone for what to expect on the day. And also, don't forget to order a couple of extras to keep as a keepsake!

Do you have a prediction for any upcoming 2020 wedding styles?
I see texture becoming a lot more popular over the next year. Instead of focusing on colours, I think people will focus more on the types of materials and textures that they use throughout all their wedding pieces, including stationery, furniture and styling pieces for example - think linen, cotton, silk and velvet. I also definitely see a lot more Earthy neutral tones and moody colours being used - think dusty pinks and blues, burnt oranges, deep emerald greens and navys.

Specifically in stationery, aside from texture being popular, I think we'll start to see a lot more couples be a bit more experimental with shapes. Think square invitations, circle menus... the options are endless. Lastly, I think we might start to see more balloons popping up!

Best part about what you do:
I love hearing about couple's plans for their big day. Usually when it gets to the stationery stage, couples already have most of the big things ticked off so it's down to the fun part of putting together the style and look and feel of the day. Everyone is different so hearing how they plan on putting their own spin on the day and making it 'them' is super exciting for me. It's great when finalising the stationery helps in that process and defining the vibe of the entire day. I also love when I get the chance to hand deliver a couple their stationery and see their reactions when they open their package and have their very own wedding stationery in their hands. It's definitely a special time.
