Creating a dramatic contrast between the environment + the wedding ceremony details, the inspiration behind this styled shoot came from the unique location. "Highlighting the starkness of the sand dunes + seeing it all come together was such a thrill but I was most impressed with everyone's dedication + determination to get everything out to the location - it isn’t an easy walk when you are carrying a lot of gear + heavy dresses/cakes. I must admit a few of the teams took on the scenic route to the location but everyone was in high spirits + excited to create some magic." Amye tells.

Challenges:
Yes we did. As we all pulled into the carpark to organise our gear I looked up to see a massive grey, dark sky heading towards us (which was not on the forecast). Seeing that we all had a one km walk into the location with everything + no protection from the weather out there, I made a call to risk it and we headed out anyway. We took the right gamble as we only got a little bit of rain as we were setting up and then we got the most amazing sky on sunset which made it all worthwhile!

Favourite detail:
I was in love with the succulents that were in the bouquet + on the table. They were the perfect addition to the bouquet and I think more brides should consider them.

Favourite moments:
I think it definitely had to be our real life couple. When Nilson first saw Verlee all dressed up in the first wedding gown, he started crying. It was so beautiful to see just how much they loved each other (they are not married or engaged) but he just kept on saying that he knew they were meant to be + that he can't wait to actually marry her for real.

Another stand out moment for the day was just how fun our celebrant Jonelle was. When we were setting up the shot to throw the confetti, she hid behind our couple and then appeared between Nilson’s legs for a laugh (good thing I caught it on camera)
