With a bush backdrop, timber, natives with a distinct touch of elegance - Australia was the influence and inspiration behind this rustic boho wedding inspiration shoot at Moravia Park. Amanda of Ivory State Hair & Makeup shares this beautiful styling captuted by Mobile Moments Photography with to the aisle australia.

Highlights:
Myself and the owner for Moravia Park, Emelia put together the whole shoot and one of the highlights were securing some of the biggest and most exciting vendors in the Hunter Valley joining us. As a makeup artist, I don’t get an opportunity to actually work with a lot of the vendors onsite at a wedding, so another highlight was watching every vendor on the day do what they do best. Creative vibes everywhere and lots of laughter. Seeing the girls in their gowns when they were ready to shoot was also a huge highlight. It made all the hard work and long hours worth it all.

Did you face any challenges on the day? If so, how did you overcome them?
It’s always a challenge project managing that many people, making sure it is a safe workplace and everyone is on the same page. One of the biggest challenges is the weather – wind or rain can really change the whole day.

What led you to decide on this venue/shoot location?
I came across this venue when I was putting together another styled shoot in Oct 2018. It was being renovated and about to launch, so it was perfect timing. The owner Emelia and I decided we wanted to do another shoot that was bigger and better than the last one plus the barn is SO gorgeous! It has a slightly American exterior but it is so country Australia everywhere else. These styled shoots are also about social media growth, so Moravia Park could gain more attention by shooting there. We all win!

Favourite detail:

All the models were so different and their gowns were SO beautiful. I played a big part in how they looked as my business was hair + makeup but with the whole barn dressed by the rest of the vendors, the girls were the icing on the wedding cake!!! Seeing all of the vendors hard work in front of us ready to shoot, makes you as excited as you would be if you were the bride!

Favourite moments:

The day ran so smoothly and there were no major problems at all. Having a wine with all of the vendors at the end and feeling proud of the huge achievement was the best part of the day!
