Tell us about what the sweet society co can offer a couple for their Wedding day?
I love to work with my couples to create something unique for them. I love different, I adore a bit of wow factor, but most importantly I want the whole process to be easy and enjoyable for my couples. Every single wedding is my most important, and I treat everyone with the same care and attention as the next. From designing with my couples to create something to suit their style, liaising with venues and suppliers, to the delivery and setup, I will be involved in every aspect of your special cake and only want perfection for your special day!

Do you have any stories that you would like to share from your experiences?
There’s so many to be honest! It has been a wild sugary ride, and I have loved everything it has brought, most importantly the beautiful people I get to meet in my travels.
One of my most memorable occasions was gifting a bride her dream wedding cake. Unfortunately Joanne was given one year to live (at the young age of 22), after her wisdom tooth pain was found to be terminal skin cancer. Joanne endured a gruelling 23hr surgery to remove a tumour from her face. Not long after this, her then boyfriend proposed.
So a group of amazing wedding vendors from My wedding wish banded together to help create her a magical wedding on her family’s property. While I was setting up the cake, Joanne took the time to stop getting ready and come out to thank me and give me a hug and a little keepsake from her and her future husband. There was so so much love and happiness in the air, they had 175 of their family and friends travel from all across Australia to be there and I was so honoured I got to be apart of that special day. Safe to say I was a blubbering mess the drive home, but situations like this really puts things into perspective. Cherish everyday you have with your loved ones!
Advice:
Find someone that you enjoy their style and connect with. Having great relationships with any vendor is going to get you the best outcome for you! Book in to have a sample/taste test, don’t be shy to ask questions! I love chatting cake, and love getting to know the likes and dislikes of my couples so I can ensure we create something perfectly suited and custom made for them.
Most importantly, ensure they are properly licensed/insured, when feeding that many guests, food safety should be of a high importance!

Texture, texture, texture! We are embracing playing with texture in all different mediums. Square shapes are making an appearance and looking like they’re here to stay. Colour wise, lots of neutrals, beige, cream, ivory and greys. Minimalist styles with beautiful small flower arrangements.
Tell us about the best part about what you do:
It is such a privilege to be chosen to take part in a couples special day. I love getting to make something to suit each couples individual style. My all time favourite is receiving cake cutting pics! I love seeing the happiness in this moment, and love even more that I can help create it!
