The beauty of Valhalla Restaurant Bar is one of a kind, both homely and heartwarming. With an Australian European feel and viking Scandinavian influence and just an hour from Newcastle, Valhalla is the perfect place to sit down and enjoy good company in our iconic surrounds. A team of passionate local wedding creatives saw the opportunity to create a bridal inspiration shoot with a celebratory vibe that was fresh and fun. Festival brides are famous for uniting fun, love, marriage and a free-spirited ambience on their wedding day.

What led you to decide on this venue/shoot location? Valhalla Restaurant and Bar is versatile. Although it lends itself to a rustic, country theme, we wanted to show off its ability to be fun and light for lovers who want something more relaxed. The colour theme was inspired by The Gnarly Bus. This proved to then effect all of the decisions moving forward and I’m so pleased it did.

Favourite moment from the day: Being able to work with such an incredible team from the newcastle wedding community + sharing stories and ideas with those that understand the behind the scenes experience of what being a part of the wedding industry brings.
