Gold Coast based boutique wedding planners and stylist, For Love & Living was born a little over a year ago now. Emma initially created an instagram account as a creative outlet for herself and her friends had always told her that she should be a stylist. "At the time I had actually come from a background in Psychology and worked six years in the field, I was feeling extremely burnt out. I guess I kind of opened myself up to the universe to see where it would take me. It definitely took me by surprise how quickly FLL grew - its been a natural organic progression. A journey I feel so much love and gratitude towards." Emma shares.

2020 predictions:
I predict we will be seeing more and more couples exchanging tradition for innovation, we are already noticing a lot more couples taking a stand on what is really important to them and perhaps not their entire extended family ;). Swapping out the traditional wedding cake for cheese wheels & traditional wedding arbours for mesh adorned backdrops. Another prediction is weddings featuring more quality over quantity, styling that is more refined in the sense attention to detail is paramount with focus on luxury tableware, beautiful soft linens and considered stationery.
where do you find your inspiration?
I find inspiration from my surroundings - I am so inspired by movement & colours harmonised so graciously by Mother Nature. When I view a couples venue, I use all these elements present to inspire the design brief, I want the styling to feel like an extension of the chosen venue. This is where the magic happens, bringing together an experience that is thoughtfully considered by elements that form human connection to emotive responses we feel from the flicker of a candle or soft billowing silks.

When choosing your stylist we believe its such a personal choice, a really important one too. We advise that you consider a stylist who you really gel with, your wedding day is such an intimate experience and you want to share this experience with people who" just get you " ! A stylist who gets you, will naturally style your wedding accordingly it will be an authentic progression one which always produces the best kind of service for YOU.

Its such an intimate, special moment we get to share with each of our couples, one we feel so much gratitude and love for. I am humbled that we share a moment in time that perhaps is one of their greatest memories as they grow old together and over a hot cup of tea will share with their grandkids photos from their wedding day."
