When this Newcastle based team of fabuslous wedding creatives discover Glenmore Country Estate, a new wedding venue in the Hunter Valley they decide to showcase how gorgeously rustic and how VERY romantic it is. "We wanted to showcase a wedding set up that was intimate, yet full of character. The season was ripe for warm tones and the venue proved perfect for absolutely any season." This was easily one of our favourite collaborations! Nath, our groom, is a WAY above average acoustic artist and books Newcastle weddings back to back. His sound sneaks straight into your soul and soothes from the inside. You have to hear it to believe it! Anyway, as the sun sunk over the barn, Nath serenaded his girlfriend, our bride, Morgan. One of the gorgeous oaks of Glenmore Country Estate laced the scene and while we sipped on some of Boozy Suzie’s crafty cocktails, it was hard not to feel the feels. It was incredible. We had a great team and an awesome afternoon.

Did overcome any challenges on the day?
Our bride turned up in boots and forgot her heels!
“YIKES” I hear you scream!
I can’t say it was much of a challenge – we took one look at her and said, “perfect!” The boots suited the shoot better than heels ever would have and she had an epic time running and jumping around! Especially during the champagne shower - everything has a way of working out.

what led you to decide on this venue/shoot location?
As I said, Glenmore Country Estate is the new kid on the block, and we wanted to show it some love! Such a beautiful space deserves to be dressed up and shown a good time! It’s a wide-open barn, spread across acres of land. The humble house seduced us with it’s soft peach exterior, but the real wow factor was the design and vibe throughout the home. WOW. There are so many places for activities! The venue itself screams green - gorgeous oaks, acres of land and exceptionally kept gardens. It’s perfect for any couple that thrives in nature and loves finding what was previously unknown.

favourite detail:
It’s pretty secluded out there – so you feel like you’re in your own little world. The awesome thing about Glenmore Country Estate is that you can turn that world into whatever you like. Bring all your favourite vendors, round up your nearest and dearest and celebrate your story ANY way you want to. It’s the experience of a lifetime and I think the vibe of the venue was probably the most special.
