The Botanist’s professional floristry offering is now available as an optional ‘add on’ to any of their Grazing Table or Healthy Catering offerings, and provides an incredible opportunity to completely transform your catering or grazing station into a visual feast! A work of art! And a food experience your guests will remember long after the last bite at your event… one that seamlessly complements the style and colour pallete of your wedding, brand or event.
"It was important to me to offer floral arrangements and tablescape styling options at a range of price points, to ensure that even those on a modest wedding budget were also able to elevate their event, so we photographed our entry level floral arrangement, a knock-your-socks-off completely custom floral installation, and a couple of gorgeous mid level packages in between. Ideal for weddings, hens events, wellness retreats, brand activations, and any gorgeous gathering." Sarah tells.

highlights: I think the realisation that just because you CAN do it all, doesn’t necessarily mean you SHOULD was a huge highlight for me (and I’m sure many small business owners can relate). There is power in collaboration. This shoot was a fabulous process of letting go, of allowing talented professionals that you trust to take the reigns and do their thing, and to collaborate in order for The Botanist to grow. I absolutely LOVED emailing Lauren at Poppy Culture with my collaboration idea and stating “I trust you to do your thing for this shoot!”’. It was important for me to provide an opportunity for Poppy Culture to try out something new and unique and perhaps a style that is not often asked for, a look that they have been dying to try, the opportunity to unleash their creativity. It’s a fabulous feeling to begin building your team and I’m so thrilled to be able to offer our food + flowers collaboration to health & beauty conscious brides moving forward. Incredible things happen when you give someone full creative control.

did you face any challenges on the day? Our big challenge was time (isn’t it always), as once we were inside the space the creative possibilities refused to stop flowing. The studio managers were great in supporting us with a few hours of overtime and by the end of the day we were so happy with what we’d captured.
what led you to decide on this venue? The Establishment Studios are just incredible. From the natural light streaming in through the windows which provided an ideal setting for gorgeous photography, to the incredible pillars of the 19th Century Church Hall, to the all-white-everything which perfectly encapsulated the all important wedding vibe, and the almost gothic style table that we ended up using for the grazing table which added a bit of The Botanist grit to an otherwise very pretty space. I was so thrilled for the opportunity to use this space to share this message.

favourite moment: Flowers! Everywhere! Not pictured is an absolutely gorgeous field of flowers of every colour spread, in buckets, across the majority of The Establishment Studios floor. It was
a touch humbling & so energising to see that Poppy Culture understood and shared my vision to this extent.
I also LOVED working again with my fave photographer and film maker Jule Mouawad. Jule has been so pivotal in supporting me with creating photo & video content throughout The Botanist journey (both for my brand and for others that have engaged our content creation services) and it was an easy choice to fly him down from Sydney to work with him once again.
