The Kooroomba Vineyard and Lavender Farm estate was established about 20 years ago, with Kooroomba Weddings coming to fruition about two years ago after their award-winning wedding chapel was built. Wilson Architects designed the beautiful open-air chapel and recently won the regional small building award in the Australian Architecture awards. Since the chapels completion, they have had more than 100 weddings at the venue.

tell us about what Kooroomba Weddings can offer a couple for their wedding day? Kooroomba is a photographer’s dream, there are endless opportunities to take that perfect picture. Imagine the back drop of magnificent mountains, spectacular views surrounded by nature, with the odd kangaroo, acres and acres of vineyards, lavender fields, olive groves and beautiful trees.

So, whether couples are looking for a sophisticated affair in our architecturally designed chapel or rural and rustic in our olive groves, they can rest assured their ceremony location will be a truly unique experience for your special day.

Kooroomba’s Wedding Planning Team assists couples with every aspect of their wedding by offering unlimited support, including planning meetings, phone calls and emails. Our team of wedding co-ordinators are all involved in the planning process of each and every wedding and are on-site from the beginning to very end of the actual wedding day. The couple’s get exclusive hire of the venue for the entire day right up until midnight.

did you always know that you wanted to manage a wedding + function venue? Our wedding coordinator, Samantha says managing a venue like Kooroomba is a dream come true - it is the most beautiful place in the world! "We have mountains completely surrounding us and it is so peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect place to work and be productive." Samantha shares.

do you have any stories that you would like to share from your experiences? We have had a handful of couples get engaged at the farm and then married here a year later, then come back to dine in our restaurant after that for their 1 year anniversary. It’s lovely to follow their journey over a number of years.

tell us about the best part about what you do: There’s so many things we love about this job. First of all, it would have to be the happiest job in the world! Everyone we meet are all so excited for the day and high spirits and festivities continue right through the evening and into the night. We get to meet so many people and create lasting friendships. Our favourite part on the day of the wedding is definitely when couples ring the bell in chapel at the end of the ceremony, after they have officially become husband and wife. We also love receiving all the photos back from the day, we get to relive the experience all over again.
