At Daylesford Grazing you can rest assured that the food on your grazing table will be absolutely delicious + eco conscious. All of their grazing tables come with a complimentary compostable bin bag and even all the sheeting under your grazing table is completely compostable. When its time to pack down and your event is finished, you can simply roll up the grazing table and any of its leftovers and dispose of it in the compostable bag provided, making the clean up easy, efficient and most importantly, sustainable.
Daylesford Grazing was born after attending many events and being slightly disappointed by the catering available. "We were shocked to learn that many people had no idea where their food was coming from or whether it was free range, sustainable or ethically sourced. Being based in Daylesford, we're surrounded by many farm gates, farmers markets and great quality producers, so we thought, why not do our very own catering service to showcase the area and what it has to offer. We try and source as much local produce as possible and we only use free range meats on our grazing tables. We strive to be as sustainable as we possibly can, we offset our carbon emissions with Green Fleet and we're extremely mindful when it comes to single use plastics. We use cotton satchels for all our fruits and veg when and we're avid composters." Leah tells.
"Compostable dinnerware is also something we can provide. We have a variety of 'Add On' options to your grazing table, that include bagels, doughnuts, cupcakes, beautiful wedding and birthday cakes made by our very own cake genie, Jemima (her cakes are THE BEST). We also provide grazing hamper boxes. Our breakfast grazing hamper is perfect for the day after your wedding when you don't want to get out of bed and it comes with an assortment of pastries, waffles, yoghurt and fruits and our more traditional cheese grazing box comes with a variety of cheeses, dips, meats and crackers and will feed up to 5 people. Perfect for snacking on whilst getting ready for your big day. We curate grazing tables in Melbourne and other areas of Victoria as well as locally and our grazing hampers are delivered to your location free of charge within the Daylesford areas." YUM YUM!
We're a fairly new business, we started in November 2019, but every time I've done a grazing table for a birthday or wedding I seem to get fairly emotional over the amount of gratitude my clients have. One beautiful lady said that upon opening the doors to the dining room on her wedding day, she had tears in her eyes when she saw my grazing table, just reading her emails afterwards really touched my heart. I just really appreciate being able to be apart of someones special day and to know that I've put a smile (or tear) on someones face. A similar thing happened to me after i did my first grazing table, it was for the Marimekko Store in Melbourne and everybody was so thankful and appreciative of my grazing table that I nearly cried in the car afterwards. Maybe I need to harden up a little hehe

what keeps you inspired along the way?
Peoples reactions to my grazing tables is what keeps me inspired. I've always been a bit of a feeder so knowing that I'm providing good quality food is what makes me happy. The area in which I live in is also very inspiring. We have so many great people, doing great things in the Daylesford & Macedon shire, it'd be hard to live in this part of Victoria and not be inspired in some kind of way. The beautiful scenery; lakes, Mount Macedon, Hanging Rock, there are so many areas here that are perfect locations for weddings and events.
tell us about the best part about what you do:
The best part about what I do is knowing that I've put a smile on a clients face. As cheesy as that may sound but its what really drives me to creating beautiful grazing tables. My background is in Fashion and I've always loved buying and shopping and one of the best parts about Daylesford Grazing that I really enjoy is hunting down new, local producers and discovering new delicious foods to showcase on the grazing tables, thats always a lot of fun.
