Just as seasons change, so to do wedding trends...turn back the clock to just a few years ago and vintage, shabby chic was a la mode. "Our little boutique, nestled just on the edge of Adelaide’s CBD, thrived on the vintage trend. But when we took over last year, we realised that trends had moved on and brides were now looking for beautiful, modern gowns with a range of price points."
The Adelaide wedding industry, despite the difficulties of 2020, is thriving. There are so many unique venues and locations, and of course, great vendors to choose from when getting married...and our new boutique exists to serve those brides who want their day to be filled with love, laughter and gorgeous modern styling. They imagine their day to be unique to them...which is why we decided to relaunch the boutique and our brand as ‘Imagine Bridal Lounge’.
To dream and imagine their wedding day is something most little girls do. Although their ideals change over time, when a woman starts to plan her big day, all of those little nuances come flooding back. Imagining their day, their flowers, their shoes and of course, their gown, is a unique thought process to them, and we want to be at the forefront of this process. We wanted our brides to feel inspired to imagine their day unfolding, as they tried on our gowns...

Since Covid hit, and we lost all certainty of the coming wedding season, we decided it was a key time to update and grow our dress collection. When most people would have wanted to sit tight, we knew this year was a golden opportunity to secure new designers, new dresses and new exclusive contracts.
We worked our socks off and turned the boutique on its head; luckily we’re a family run business and so flexibility and the ability to turn our hand to most things has been a huge blessing. Completely renovating the boutique was a process in itself, but the results are genuinely amazing and the space has been completely transformed.

Now, Imagine Bridal Lounge is a modern, chic space which is comfortable and private despite being on Payneham Road in Adelaide. Our gorgeous range of Australian and New Zealand labels, including Oui, Erin Clare, Luna Willow and Boho Bridal, are exclusive to Adelaide and come in a range of prices, suited to most budgets.
