This elopement at Mount Kosciuszko was nothing short of EPIC. The bride, the groom, the mountain and one super romantic tiny house – this is what elopement dreams are made of. A few local vendors and The Wild Pair collaborated to showcase what an ‘elopement’ really could look like.

"We wanted to debunk the ancient view of eloping that diminishes a couples’ wedding day to a 5-minute ceremony and some quick portraits. We want couples to understand that eloping in 2020 and beyond should be more than that. Choosing to elope is a valid choice!" Lauren of The Wild Pair Elopments shares. "An elopement is just as valuable as a big, traditional wedding and it is a real option for so many people who cringe at the thought of a big wedding with lots of guests and all of the extras, or for those who just simply don’t connect with traditional weddings. We want to show couples that elopements can be intimate, adventurous and memorable wedding experiences that are a true reflection of their values and beliefs."

- We hope this shoot inspires couples to think differently about their wedding day and to explore the possibilities that eloping presents.
Eloping provides so much freedom to go anywhere, and to anything, on your wedding day. We believe that the more couples see this type of a wedding experience, the more couples will feel empowered to create a wedding day that is meaningful to them (and really, that’s what it’s all about!).
